Activity Groups
Activity groups are small teams of time bank members who share skills and energy and work together toward a specific community goal—like mutual aid, gardening, sewing, childcare swaps, tech support, and more. They turn individual offers of help into collective projects that deepen relationships, strengthen neighborhood connections, and make it easy for everyone to both give and receive. In activity groups, every hour you share still earns time credits, but it also builds something bigger: trust, friendship, and a network you can count on.
Activity group members receive Time Bank Dollars for participating in activity groups, and activity group leads are primarily responsible for awarding the Time Dollars in TnT. They are also responsible for organizing and coordinating the activity group's activities and its members. Regular reports and pictures are required from leads to include in the yearly board report, monthly newsletters and on our website.

Current activity groups
Sewing Geeks
Many members were in a previous group called "Days for Girls" when we were actively affiliated with the international nonprofit. The "Sewing Geeks" group is coordinated by Jeanne Reese. Their most recent project involved creating quilts for families at a Lancaster-area natal clinic. The group has two possible projects they are considering for 2026. Reach out to Jeanne on TnT if you'd like to join!
Caring Neighbors' Circle
We help support neighbors and members who are going through a tough time. Our support comes in practical forms such as picking up medications or groceries, giving rides, tech support or whatever is required. We have monthly meetings the 1st Wednesday of each month. Join the activity group on TnT to be included in our activities!
Repair Cafe
The Phoenixville Repair Café is a neighbor‑powered project where people bring broken things and walk away with repairs, skills, and new friends. Our Time Bank has an activity group that helps organize and staff Repair Café events, since many members belong to both and share the same goal: caring for our community. If you love sewing, tinkering with small appliances, or figuring out how to fix “lost causes,” talk to us and we'll get you connected to the Repair Cafe team!
Yoga
We have a regular Wednesday session led by another member, however due to limitations in our venue we are at capacity. If you'd like to run a yoga session for a new group, let us know!
