Your skills don't need to be niche to be valuable. In fact, most of our exchanges are around daily activities: picking up groceries or prescriptions, giving someone a ride to the airport or locally, petsitting, and in the warmer months, help with weeding. Other members have hosted classes on a craft or cooking. Our members love to learn!

We have a small but mighty Board but we need committee members to help develop and guide policy-making, and provide the necessary operational support for ongoing initiatives. Committee members will also need to be available to attend regular monthly meetings.

Activity groups are groups of 3 or more members focused on sharing a particular skill or talent in aid of an individual or a cause. Current activity groups include the Caring Neighbors' Circle dedicated to helping support our neighbors as they deal with recovering from an illness or a rough patch, and the Sewing Geeks group who work on various sewing projects for causes close to their heart.

In the past we've had activity groups to help build the phoenix for the Firebird Festival and a sewing group dedicated to creating hygiene products for Days For Girls. If you can get a team of 3 or more people working together for a common purpose, talk to us about setting up an activity group. Some suggestions: a walking group, a movie or book club, a social group that gets together monthly to do activities, or a cooking group! 

We have a stall at the Phoenixville Farmers' Market on the last 2 Saturdays of the month. We meet a lot of members of the public here and it's our best way to demonstrate what our Time Bank community is all about. Volunteer with us and share with the public how being a part of the Time Bank has made your life better!

We have monthly Board meetings every 3rd Thursday of the month. Come along and help make an impact on the PA Time Bank! You earn Time Bank Dollars for attending!

We're setting up our yet-to-be-named Library on Vanderslice Street. We have lots of books to be shelved and catalogued and we can sure use your help! We're there most Saturdays. Reach out to let us know you're coming!

We deeply appreciate the many contributions our volunteers make to sustain our work. While volunteer support is essential, operating a time bank also involves ongoing administrative and technology costs. Our suggested individual membership contribution is $25. If you are in a position to contribute more, your support will strengthen our ability to maintain reliable services for the entire community.
