Diner en Dirt Picnic
Time & Location
About The Event
Phoenixville Area Time Bank is having a social distancing event on May 1, 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM, rain or shine, at Spring Creek Farm, Pottstown. You've heard of Diner en Blanc? or Phoenixville's own Diner En Vert? Well this is 'Diner En Dirt', because it's at the horse ranch of a PATB member where the floor is dirt in the horse arena. Attendees will wear masks and keep at least 6 feet apart, and bring their own food, drinks, tables and chairs for a new kind of social event; being together for a group picnic but separate. And the date and time is set to enjoy the running of the Kentucky Derby by smart phone viewing while at a horse ranch. Post time is about 6:30.
Lorraine will lead us on a hike around the farm starting at 4:30, then we will watch the lead up to the race, pick our favorites, and enjoy our picnic meals at a safe distance. Add to the fun by wearing a fancy hat. Come in style.
Directions from routes 100 and 422: go 1 mile south of rt. 422 on rt. 100 to first light which is Cedarville Rd; Turn left onto Cedarville; go 2 1/2 miles to Spring Creek Lane on the right (opposite Brownstone Rd.) Turn right and we are at the end of the lane.
